Sunflower pellets are produced from Sunflower meal, which is a product remaining after sunflower seed has been processed for the extraction of oil. Sunflower pellets provide a source of fibre and protein in animal feed diets. This makes it a highly valuable livestock feed, particularly for ruminants (where its high fibre can help reduce acidosis).
