Corn Gluten Feed Pellets (CGFP) are a maize-based product produced as a byproduct of the wet milling process of corn. This medium protein, high-energy feed consists of a grain fraction and whole stillage, pelleted for improved flowability and ease of handling in bulk systems and silo blends.For ruminants, CGFP is a palatable, low-starch feed source that provides rumen degradable protein, B vitamins, phosphorus and highly digestible fibre. Its balanced nutrient profile makes it a reliable base ingredient in many dairy rations worldwide. The product is fumigated before it is landed in NZ to MPI Standards. The product may be derived from GMO corn.

Feeding Recommendations and Storage
Corn Gluten Feed Pellets (CGFP) are suitable for feeding at any stage of the farm cycle where additional energy and rumen degradable protein are required in the diet. Feeding CGFP to dairy cows can support milk production by providing a consistent source of digestible fibre, energy and degradable protein. Inclusion rates will depend on your farming system, production targets and the balance of the overall ration. CGFP can be mixed with silage and other feeds in paddock or on a feed pad. Due to its pelleted and free-flowing nature, it is suitable for use in bulk storage systems and can be fed through grain feeding systems in the dairy shed. Store in a dry area to maintain product quality. Exposure to moisture may cause the growth of moulds and toxins. Appropriate precautions should be taken to prevent rodent and bird infestation.
